Nice one, John : you, at your best – back to wonder (rather than whining, which brings us all to our knees.) Yes, a pointed comment. I really don’t know why you give way to it; it is so, so soul destroying. But as they say, ours is to take the bad with the good. In short, to whine is not to shine. It is to lose sight of the incredible marvel of existence that you describe so beautifully when you reconnect with all that is. Focus on our blessings, my dear brother, that is what we are here to do. And what a relief it is when you reconnect to Source. I feel a renewed sense of happiness, here, there and everywhere.
Thank you, Ian. I need to reconnect with kindred spirits like you, in order to maintain that energy of marvel and wonder. Left to my own distractions (and those of unending political gloom in my country) I lose my way too easily.
Your words are a refreshing reminder for me that I succumb to the very distractions I wish others would overcome.
