We also had a short, sharp cold spell of our own here, setting everything back and causing lots of damage to crops.

The former two will probably be unaffected: there won’t be any peaches or apricots, though.

Re: camellias – we have lost a few but for the most part they have been thriving. At the end of April, it is time to prune them back, so nature was in-line with the process this year:-)
