Twenty Eighteen
Happy New Year!
Time to turn over a new calendar, or something like that. The health clubs and fitness centers will be crowded for a week or two, and based on past evidence, the numbers will return to normal again by the end of the month.
Humans.
We’re a funny bunch.
However you notch the passage of time, may this eighteenth year of the millennium greet you with unlimited possibility for optimal health and well-being.
Find the happy! It’s a worthy goal for which to strive.

Drifting – Again
Revisiting a “Words on Images” from 2013 that fits for me lately, as change around home has been not so apparent, day-to-day. That, and the fact I haven’t been taking many new pictures that inspire words.
Just drifting away on the light… and breathing; less verbal than my usual old self.

Revisiting: Afternoon
This afternoon we reach the autumnal equinox, marking the transition to the half of the year when days are shorter than the nights. Summer is over folks. Move along.

Nope. Today the forecast is predicting high heat and humidity. Near record temperatures, in fact.
No flannel required.
I stumbled upon my Words on Images called “Afternoon” in my media library last night. I’ve decided to reprise it, in tribute to the delightful days of summer we’ve been blessed with this year.
