I’m stealing my writing time this morning to watch a bike race that is happening in the mountains in the east of France, where sunshine has been mixed with brief downpours and thunder and lightning.

Exciting!

Maybe the World Cup third-place match between England and France this afternoon will be just as exciting. I hope I’ll have the mowing finished in time to watch it.
