Reached Clinton
Drove south all day while watching the temperature display on the dashboard climb until it reached 106 (F). Made it to Clinton, MO around 4:00 after a brief stop in Kansas City for mid-afternoon snack at Gates BBQ.
Today, we start riding The Katy Trail. The first leg is a short distance so we hope to reach the next camping destination before temps reach triple digits.
