Now What?
My little image challenge from a few days back was popular enough to entice me to do that kind of thing again. This time, you have an opportunity to get lost in the mysterious transposing of depth perception. Is it recessed, or raised? Figure out what you think this could possibly be, before scrolling down to click the link which will reveal the full image…

I was sure it was a sink (can you tell we’re looking at remodeling and recessing the sink?). I thought it very obvious! But alas was wrong! I could easily see it either way, recessed or not.

I must say, I’m going to have a hard time topping the first two images I’ve used, but I am looking forward to finding other possibilities for this image challenge. Thanks for reporting in!

another one! At first thought it was recessed, but then when you suggested the possibility it might be raised I thought it definitely it looked raised. I can see it either way. All I could think to guess was some sort of baking pan, but I’d never seen one with that shape.

I wondered if my commenting on the issue of raised, or not, would influence people’s perceptions. Baking pan is an interesting possibility. I like it better than Cyndie’s suggestion of a bed pan.

I totally see it as recessed….still, even after seeing what it was!
I guessed a magnetized pan from the shop to collect nuts, bolts, screws, etc in ~ with all your new interests that must be something you have around now!

I’m glad that I’m not the only one to see it as recessed. Cyndie didn’t see it that way, and had me worried it might just be me. We both figured Scott would the person to correctly guess what it was, if anybody would.
