Two More Pics

My chronicle of our trip to Portugal is close to finished, as I have now written about each and every day, up to the very last. I almost don’t want to reach the end. I will prolong the story today by sharing a couple more images that didn’t get included in the slide show. These were taken on that last Friday we were on the farm…

A view into the shade house filled with a multitude of growing things

  1. I notice Cyndie’s green chair in the first picture, which seems so fitting. Cyndie always introduces her particular style into an activity – like wearing wonderful clothes at dinner after working all day and preparing it – the icing on the cake, you might say.

Of course, the chair is empty now and the Spring garden without its wonderful artist gardener, but the plants and trees still resonate with your presence and will thrive on your goodness. They say the road to Hell is paved with good intentions, but your physical journey across the sea and the acts that followed implanted a vision of Heaven – my ‘Mountain of Grace’ has grown more beautiful than I could have possibly have imagined!
