There is so much more. There’s more to do, more to see, more to say. Sometimes, so much more that it is overwhelming, and appears as too much to deal with. I seem to be on a picture theme these days. I’ll admit to being a little pressed for time to write. We’re busy preparing to head to the lake place for the Independence Day weekend. I was able to get the lawn mowed at the last minute and we expect to be an hour into our road trip by the time this post is published. I am truly hoping to arrive at our destination early enough to catch the World Cup match between the Netherlands and Brazil. Then on Saturday, the Tour de France cycle race begins! So much sports entertainment that I thoroughly enjoy. It’s a very happy time for me! Why, I’m practically speechless over it!
Hello July
No matter the technological wizardry we humans have dreamt up to control our world, nothing we have achieved thus far has succeeded in stalling the march of time, …hot-tub time machines notwithstanding. So, July is here. We may as well dive into the heart of summer with everything we’ve got, and enjoy it. Happy July!
It’s the People
There is adventure in leaving behind your car and spending a week in the elements, riding bike and sleeping in a tent. But regardless whatever memorable experience nature presents, it is the people that ultimately make the annual event something we return for year after year.
