Strange Bird
We had a strange looking bird perched in the feeder on Monday. Don’t be fooled. This critter can really fly, just not with wings. The birds all fly away when we approach the feeder, but this guy completely froze in order to become invisible to me. Even though his motionless body was hard to spot, the quick shutter of the camera captured a clear image of his unique markings.

I like the pretty bird feeder, so it is not surprising it attracts impressive looking guests.

Would you believe there are 4 of those fancy feeders on our property! Those accoutrements were some of the “icing on the cake” wonderful attractions to this place when we discovered it back in 2012. No wonder there are so many impressive looking animal guests choosing to make visits here, eh?
