What Happened?
What the heck happened here? I thought it looked like wave, so I turned it over.
This is what a spell of above-freezing temperatures does to the snow that was resting on a metal roof. We are enjoying a little January thaw this weekend. Blankets are off the horses, and the air is feeling soft for frolicking with our dog and horses together out in the pasture.
It is a welcome respite.

Re:frolicking – I hope you manage some photos. Horses definitely like to have fun at times although getting them to coordinate it with a dog is still something I am working on. We are always somewhat afraid for the dog.

We face the added challenge of keeping our dog tethered lately, too. I have to be careful not to create a trip hazard for the horses, or allow Delilah to become challenged without a safe escape route. Luckily, they have been well-behaved enough to not cause any problems, horses or dog.
