Good things are worth waiting for, but most often do involve a long wait. I am sure the sunshine comes as a wonderful blessing.
Re: dog and horses – the trick is to take them for a walk into unfamiliar territory, which is when they bond best.

We are doing a lot of waiting around here lately. That’s a great idea, about walking them together into unfamiliar territory. The challenge here is that Delilah has explored every inch and beyond of our little paradise. She likes to try to herd the poor horses when we are walking them, and the horses are already jittery enough, being out of their herd and beyond their fenced comfort zone.
Alas, we are slowly making progress on getting them to bond without antagonizing each other, but again, it comes down to patience. Another thing we are waiting on, for the best outcome in the long run!
Thanks, Ian!

Yes, it sounds so simple but the hardest thing to allow ourselves today is time and patience; it is no easy thing to escape our rat race mentality, but that is what the horses would teach us to do. Maybe taking a camera on the simplest walk forces us to take time out and come into that way of thinking, much like the mental preparation you use to be able to write your blog. Of course, I know its challenging:-)
