Sledding Fun
Julian created some fun gif images showing our sledding adventures up at the lake place. Here are a couple with he and Jose taking some runs down the hill onto the lake. Just click on them to see the motion!

Sounds like our guests got out of here in the nick of time. The days ahead are predicted to be colder than it was last week. It has been a long time since we had a winter as cold and snowy as this one has been thus far.
It has me thinking maybe I should have lobbied harder to be allowed to hide in one of their suitcases on their trip home.

Really cool photo-video-thingies, Julian!! (Yeah, that’s right; I used the technical term.)

You are the best. Perfect technical verbiage.

We are back home. It is wonderful to see green again and the weather 20c. But we miss you so much, we miss the snow and all the wonderful moments we had together.
We were meant to know each other, the boys remember both of you every second and comment a lot about all the fun we had. Marco says playing the guitar is not the same.
We will be waiting for you in Guatemala, here you have a home. When you get tired of snow, take a plane and come here.
Thank you for everything, we have no words, to say Thank you! It was a wonderful to spend christmas and new year with the coziness of family.
We miss the cookies, the food, the little talks, the laughs, the barks, the cozy log house…
All our love to all of you!!! Gracias desde el fondo de nuestro corazon!

It is a treasure to know we share such a mutual admiration. 20C and green is very tempting right now. It is forecast to get so cold the Governor has commanded all public schools in the entire state of MN be closed on Monday. Cyndie parked the truck inside the barn to protect it a bit. You guys got out in the nick of time!
